Privacy Policy

Information You Provide
We will collect certain Personally Identifiable Information from you when you register for an account or check-in through our outreach tool. Personally Identifiable Information may include: your name, email, location, phone number, birthday, gender or other information that identifies you personally. This is to enhance your experience, ensuring you receive relevant information. It is also used for reporting to authorized Service Providers (check-ins only), and for security reasons, including preventing unauthorized people from pretending to be you to access often limited services within the community. We do not require you to register or provide personal information to visit general areas of our site, although participating Service Providers may require it when checking-in to their services.

Disclosure of Information
HopeOneSource is administered by Hope With Love, an incorporated 501(c)(3) IRS approved non-profit organization. Hope With Love uses industry standard encryption practices to protect core elements of all Personally Identifiable Information stored within our system for optimal security and performance. Your Personally Identifiable Information will not be shared, sold, or transferred to any non-governmental third party without your prior consent, unless it is required by law.

In the event that we are required by law or legal process (such as a subpoena, warrant or court order) or to respond to lawful requests from legal authorities to disclose the information you submit, we will provide you with notice (unless we are prohibited) that a request for your information has been made so that you may object to the disclosure. We will send this notice by email to the email address or phone number you have provided in your account. If you do not challenge the disclosure request yourself, we may be legally required to turn over your information.

Your general contact information may be accessed by our system administrators and our service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our services and our Sites. These service providers may have access to your information but only to the extent necessary to help you connect with the service(s) that have been requested, and are obligated not to disclose that information or use it for any other purposes. For this purpose, you may receive notifications with information and available services, should you have participated with any service provider using HopeOneSource.

We may share aggregated information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information to yourself and to the Service Provider you accessed with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, research, analysis and other similar purposes.

This is to help your community have a By-Name-List to better coordinate services to further help prevent and end homelessness, an evidence based practice learned by many communities that have effectively ended veteran homelessnes -- all according to federal policy.
