Tom is a senior fellow and professor at Duke University’s highly selective leadership school, with a focus in human centered design. He previously served as an Obama Administration appointee, where he spearheaded the Veterans Experience Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs to understand, design and measure Veteran experience. It continues to result in unprecedented quality improvements for the second largest U.S. government agency. Prior, he served in Asia and Europe for over 20 years, where he launched McDonalds in France and led it to be highest grossing market outside of the USA. You can find him enjoying his newly built dream home with his wife in Durham, NC, along with his visiting children and grandkids. Tom is a senior advisor to HopeOneSource’s team as it relates to strategic direction.

Elizabeth Jia is a content strategist for articles, social media, podcast, video, apps, live TV + brand experiences. She has a Masters in Journalism from Georgetown University and a Bachelors in Journalism and Broadcast from the University of Maryland College Park. She has +15 years of experience that includes producing engaging articles/visuals to boost viewership -- achieving #1 most page view ranks. She is passionate for progress in housing finance, telehealth and blockchain for social impact. Through this passion, she provides HopeOneSource with strategic communication direction.
Odie Donald, Chief of Staff, Atlanta, Georgia
Odie Donald is Augusta Georgia’s City Administrator, overseeing all of the city’s daily administrative duties. Formerly, he was appointed by the DC Mayor as Washington, DC’s Department of Employment Service Director, overseeing the city’s operational programs that provide services to employers, employees, and job-seekers, including -- job training, workers’ compensation, and unemployment compensation. Odie was selected as Georgia’s Top 40 under 40 leaders by “Georgia Trend”, a well recognized magazine on the state’s economic development and politics.
