Tell me more about the beginnings of H1S
In 2015, DC Government officials began a pilot with H1S to send out emergency alerts to its residents, which quickly expanded to other outreach messages and follow-up. Through testimonies along with evidence based peer reviewed studies, surveys, and focus groups in our growing number of communities we serve, H1S is continuously learning of its impact. This includes having helped hundreds of service providers connect with thousands of vulnerable community members that helped stabilize their situation.
