During the coldest and warmest months of the year, the DC Department of Human Services uses HopeOneSource, the outreach tool created by a DC area based Hope With Love, 501c3, to send out emergency alerts to hundreds of the community's most vulnerable residents, providing them the essential information they need to access transportation and shelter.
