How do people experiencing poverty, including homelessness, sign up?
There are currently three methods to register people to receive alerts that are based on questions asked that identify their housing status and needs: 1.) Check-ins Tool from any web enabled device. 2.) HopeOneSource.org historically done through Street Outreach from any web enabled device. 3.) Batch Registration or automatic integration from a database (i.e: Homeless Management Information System). People always have the choice to opt-out of receiving real-time text alerts of nearby available services they may need.
Who sends messages on HopeOneSource?

These messages often include the essential information —the what, where, when, who and how—that people need to access the service.
